1. Structure and Working Principle of conveyor belt
Through worm reducer, the conveyer belt drives the drive shaft which moves the conveyer belt, and then hoists and conveys the materials to next process. It mainly consists of conveyer belt, drive shaft, drive roll, supporting device (upper and lower supporting roller and supporting plate), reducer and frame. Drive shaft and drive roll are fixed on guard plate through T bearing, and the conveyer belt is around drive shaft and drive roll, and forms a closed circular moving structure. In order to avoid conveying belt from drooping, rotary upper and lower supporting rollers are installed per regular distance for supporting the conveying belt. Reducer is installed on the front part of the conveyer belt, the conveyer belt can be driven through the friction transmission of drive shaft. The drive roll, installed at the back part of conveyer belt, can make the conveyer belt expanded.
1.1 Conveyer belt
1.1 Conveyer belt is an import part for carrying, transferring power and delivering materials. Its size is mainly the size of adhesive tape, which is usually 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 650mm, 700mm, 800mm, 1000mm and 1200mm. Conveyer belt can be divided into ordinary adhesive tape, baffle adhesive tape, skirt adhesive tape.
1.2 Supporting device
Supporting device supports the conveying belt and materials, and avoids the conveyer belt from being drooping. Supporting device mainly consists of supporting plate and supporting roller. The supporting roller can rotate with the movement of conveyer belt. Usually, the supporting roller has deep groove ball bearings.
Drive shaft and drive roll mainly consists of shaft, bearing and roller. They support, drive and expand conveyer belt.
1.3 Power device
Reducer is directly on the drive shaft and transfers power, making the conveyer belt move continuously.
1.4 Expansion device
Expansion device is for expanding the conveyer belt, and ensures the conveyer belt has enough expansion power. It is installed on the front and at the back of conveyer belt. Usually it is rail track type, can be adjusted by T bearing.
1.5 Loading and unloading device
When conveying materials, enclosed plate and material-receiving hopper are used to receive materials; scraper is used to make materials even in the middle; when discharging materials, material-flowing plate and material-receiving hopper are used to discharge materials. Discharging materials in the middle can be done by baffle plate.
